OFFER LETTER FALSE & MISLEADING DATE SCAM TIMELINE

In this annexure, I am explaining the offer letter scam in detail. By now, you must have got an idea that scammers do not give current-dated offer letter to visa workers till H1B visa petition gets approved by USCIS.
One of the requirements of new H1B visa petition is to send visa worker-signed offer letter, along with new H1B visa petition.

Since scammers do not give current-dated offer letter to visa workers before filing of H1B visa petition to USCIS, so it is not possible for scammers to send visa worker-signed offer letter, along with new H1B visa petition.

So, to meet this requirement of H1B visa petition, the rumor is that scammers photoshop or fraudulently sign the offer letter (in place of visa workers) and send this fraudulently signed offer letter along with the new H1B Visa petition. So scammers use this trick to send the visa workers-signed offer letter without giving the offer letter to visa workers.

Later, after the approval of H1B visa petition, scammers send the backdated offer letter to visa workers & blackmail visa workers to sign the backdated offer letter by using at least 3 traps.

If scammers will send the current-dated offer letter to visa workers before filing new H1B visa petition, then visa workers will never sign the offer letter and will never join the company. So scammers use these tricks to get the offer letter signed by visa workers.
Here, I am explaining the timeline of offer letter's false & misleading date scam with an example.

Offer letter false & misleading date scam timeline:


Date Scammers actions
04/01/2018 Suppose scammer files H1B visa petition on this date.
Prior to
04/01/2018 		What scammers are supposed to do:
1. Generate offer letter
2. Give current-dated offer letter to visa worker to sign
3. Send visa worker signed offer letter to USCIS.

But, what scammer actually does:
1. Generate offer letter
2. Don’t give currently-dated offer letter to visa worker
3. Send the fraudulently-signed offer letter to USCIS.
01/15/2019 Suppose H1B visa petition gets approved.
After
01/15/2019 		Scammers start looking for a real project for visa worker.
02/15/2019 Scammers arrange real project for visa worker.
After
02/15/2019 		Now, after 8 months, scammers give backdated offer letter to visa workers.
Scammers instruct visa worker to put signature as per passport.
Scammers instruct visa worker not to put any date on backdated offer letter.

With this trick, no matter on which date visa worker got & signed backdated offer letter from scammer, but it’ll give false & misleading impression that visa worker has signed offer letter before 04/01/2018.


The above table shows how scammers first use fraudulently signed offer letter to get H1B visa approved and then blackmail visa workers to sign backdated offer letter after 8 months of generating the offer letter.

Scammers have to use this fraudulent trick, because scammers do want visa workers to see the offer letter until & unless visa workers get trapped in scammers net. If any visa workers will see the offer letter before getting trapped, then no visa workers will sign the offer letter and will never join the scammers company.

Before giving backdated offer letter, scammers ensure that visa workers must get trapped in their (scammers) net.
Here, to blackmail visa workers, scammers use following 3 traps:
1. Visa workers own money (visa fee). Scammers don't return money to visa workers, till visa workers sign backdated offer letter.
2. Visa workers approved visa petition. Scammers don't five approved H1B visa document, till visa workers sign backdated offer letter.
3. Visa workers option-less situations. Scammers don't give offer letter, till visa workers resign from current company.
